The Farmhouse

The farmhouse is situated at the end of a small village road in a peaceful country setting affording stunning views over the Serra D’Arga. Lovingly restored, both the farmhouse and barn offer accommodation for up to 12 guests. The house sleeps six plus a small child’s bed and the barn is fully equipped with one double bedroom, a bunk room with two sets of bunk beds, a shower room and a kitchenette. The sitting room which extends out to the veranda is large, with three sofas and an open fireplace and the kitchen boasts a large table for indoor dining. There is no TV in the house but there is a DVD machine and screen. A weekly maid service is included in the rental price, helping to make your holiday even more relaxing.

Outside
The house is surrounded by 6 acres of lush gardens with mature trees, vines and its own private heated swimming pool offering breath-taking views over the distant mountains. The pool is gated and has a secure cover for extra safety and both the house and gardens are child friendly and secure with the secluded garden bordering the a national park. The large garden is set out on six terraced levels and the spacious patio area is fully equipped with outdoor dining furniture seating 12, including sun loungers,deckchairs and a built in barbecue. The extensive gardens, patios and shaded dining areas ensure ample space and comfort for all guests.

Local Area
The farmhouse is situated on the outskirts of the quiet village of Vinhas but only 4km from the bustling market town of Paredes de Coura. Paredes de Coura has a well-maintained Praia fluvial or river beach which is a pleasant spot for a swim and a picnic. The town offers all amenities including two small supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, banks, health centre, dentist, indoor swimming pool and cinema. The coast is 30 minutes by car with beautiful wide sandy beaches which are well maintained.
