The house comprises of 2 levels – ground and first floor.

400 m² - Sleeps 10 - 5 double bedrooms (+ double sofa bed in hall which could accommodate 2 more persons if necessary) and a baby cot, bed and fold out bed

Ground Floor: entrance, a huge kitchen with dishwasher, 2 gas ovens, 2 fridges, 2 freezers, microwave and fully equipped. The opposite side of the kitchen has a fireplace and in between is the dining area with a table seating 12 people, and from the kitchen/dining room there is direct access outside onto the terrace (all around the house). On the ground floor there is also 1 double bedroom and in the hall there is a shower room with WC, sink and towel rail. The hallway has a sofa bed with could accommodate 2 more persons if necessary. The sitting room with fireplace, stereo, TV with Satellite, videocassette-recorder and DVD player and 3 sofa’s and 2 chairs so enough sitting spaces. The satellite has Dutch, English, German, French and Italian programmes and has access to children’s programmes such as Cartoon network. At the end of the road there is a dustbin where you can drop all your rubbish in daily.

First Floor: 1 master double room with en-suite shower room, WC, sink and towel rail. Down the hall there is 1 double bedroom, 1 very large twin bedroom with spectacular view and another 1 good size twin bedroom.

There is a baby set for rent which comprises of a cot, high chair and play pen (to be discussed).

The garden is fenced off all around.


Castiglione Tinella
Castiglione Tinella is an old village with small centre, it is located in front of the house (see photo with your view). In the village there are 2 churches, bank and cash point, town hall, bar, pharmacy, hairdresser, restaurant and a small but well stocked supermarket. It is a walk down the hill to the village or a short drive. Santa Stefano Belbo (6km) is down the hill and is a bigger town, it has a few restaurants, bars, banks, shops, supermarkets, market (Wednesdays) or Canelli (8km) is even larger and has a large shopping centre CASTELLO and opposite is the LIDL, shops, bars, restaurants (including Chinese), pharmacies, banks etc. Castiglione Tinella is based in Langhe, the wine region, the most famous wines from here are Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera and Muscat wine. Piedmont is also known for their truffles.
